Jayna Lowe's first ideas for Dream [on] Media were sparked during one of her university projects in Australia, in 2003.
After graduating with a degree in Communication, Mass Media, Jayna worked abroad for major broadcasting corporations, marketing agencies and graphic design firms. This experience provided her with extensive video, design and business savvy.
After several years working in New Zealand, Jayna moved back to Kelowna in 2007 with the dream of starting up her own creative marketing firm. Jayna's idea for Dream [on] Media is not only to produce fantastic work, but to also make a difference... globally.

In January, 2009, Urban Systems Foundation sent Jayna Lowe and her husband Jono (a water engineer), to Africa to produce a documentary highlighting the amazing work they are involved with in Uganda. With the Urban Systems Foundation presenting the video to their offices around BC and Alberta, and the pieces falling into place, it became clear this was the perfect time to officially launch her company – Dream [on] Media.
ACTS is a non-government organization that has provided clean water to thousands of impoverished Ugandans, and has helped Ugandan children realize their dreams through secondary school education. Dream [on] Media donates 7% of project proceeds to Africa Community Technical Service (ACTS) and other charitable organizations.
